COVID-19 Policy:
1.) Parents should conduct a daily symptom check at home before departing for the Enrichment Program. Symptoms look out for:
-A fever of 100.4 or higher
-A cough that cannot be attributed to another health condition
-Shortness of breath that cannot be attributed to another health condition
-Chills that cannot be attributed to another health condition
-Muscle aches that cannot be attributed to another health condition or activity (like exercise)
-Loss of taste and/or smell that cannot be attributed to another health condition
2.) Students should not coming to school if:
-If any of the people in their household have had signs or symptoms
-If they traveled outside of the state or out of the country within 14 days
-If anyone in their household has been diagnosed with COVID
-If they were potentially exposed to COVID and are asymptomatic
3.) Should a student present with a fever of 100.4 or higher, parents have 3 options to take before the student can return to the program:
1.) Stay at home from the program for a total of 10 days from the point symptoms first appeared, and at least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery (defines as resolution of fever without the use of fever reducing medications and improvement of any respiratory symptoms
2.) Provide a doctor’s note that attributes the fever/symptoms to something other than COVID. Take appropriate precautions before sending your kid(s) back to the program with any other communicable illness.
3.) Get a COVID test that proves the student does not have COVID
These policies are subject to amendment. We will follow all best practices given from the CDC and based on recommendation from HCPS.
General Safety Procedures:
-Daily temperature checks for students and mentors. Those with temperatures above 100.4℉ will be asked to return home
-Masks worn at all times while indoors, and outside when social distancing is not possible
-Additional hand washing and sanitizer stations
-Use of FDA approved cleaners on shared materials and in common spaces
-Limited group sizes for each grade and at each program location allows for distancing and individualized attention for students. Students will be grouped by both age and online learning times.

——Grades 2 – 5, mentor to student ratio 1:8 (Max group size 14 total)
