Horizons Learning Foundation Enrichment Programs

Proud partner of Harrisonburg City Public Schools.

Spring 2021 Program details:

Horizons Learning Foundation is hosting our experiential Enrichment Programs for Harrisonburg City and Rockingham Country students in grades K – 5 as a way to support families entering another season of virtual learning. Our programs meet students’ virtual schoolwork needs in real time and are complemented by further experiential learning and recreation opportunities. A team of skilled mentors lead students in reconnecting with their peers and nature, building positive habits, and fostering resiliency.

Students will be allotted supervised time to participate in their scheduled zoom meetings and complete school work. Time allotted will be based off of school district requirements for each grade. Our Enrichment Program locations offer unique outdoor or open air curriculums, which enhance students’ learning experiences with additional activities and opportunities for social, emotional, and cognitive growth. For spring 2021, Horizons Learning Foundation Enrichment Programs will run primarily at Horizons Edge Sports Campus- with the potential to shift to Camp Horizons following Spring Break.
